Endorses Nick Cocchi for Sheriff
Warren cites Cocchi’s commitment to excellence and long tenure at Hampden County Sheriff’s Department as reasons for endorsement.
(Hampden County, MA) United States Senator Elizabeth Warren today, endorsed Nick Cocchi for Sheriff of Hampden County.
“I know that Nick Cocchi has the experience and vision to carry Mike Ashe’s legacy of integrity and compassion forward. I am happy to endorse Nick Cocchi for Sheriff of Hampden County,” said Senator Warren.
“Having the support of Senator Warren is a tremendous honor for me,” said Nick Cocchi. “Elizabeth Warren has been a champion of democratic principles, and is someone who has worked tirelessly to fight for the common man and make our country work for everybody,” Cocchi added.
“One of the very first people to call me immediately after the primary victory was Senator Warren. She congratulated me and told me that she thought I was ‘going to make a tremendous Sheriff’. It was a thrilling moment to know that I had earned her respect and I look forward to working with her and our entire state delegation on many of the critical issues facing our county in the coming years,” said Cocchi.
